Theresa is an environmental steward and sustainability practitioner. She is the founder of Noble Renewables Group, a leadership consultancy firm to advocate and facilitate social and environmental change for a more sustainable world by offering coalition building, community centered facilitation, civic engagement, environmental policy advocacy, and community education. She has expertise in policy advocacy at the local, state and federal level in clean air, water, climate change, and renewable energy electricity transition.
She worked as a Strategic Civic Engagement Policy Manager at New Mexico First, a policy institute specializing in natural resources and agricultural resiliency. Her work as a climate and energy consultant with the Union of Concerned Scientists in New Mexico helped establish one of the toughest clean energy policies in the U.S. In 2020, she was selected to be on a task force to create a climate action plan to address equity for the City of Albuquerque.

She is a former President of the Middle Rio Grande Water Advocates, to advocate for a sustainable, equitable and affordable water supply and served on the board of directors for Thunder Mountain Water Company, a family owned rural water utility.
Theresa is a 2013 fellow at the National Hispanic Leadership Institute in Washington DC, holds a Bachelors degree from the University of New Mexico and a Masters of Sustainability degree from Arizona State University with a concentration in renewable energy and water resources. She holds an Executive Certification from the Harvard Kennedy School; Leadership, Organizing and Action: Leading Change.
Theresa spent 14 years as Vice President of TC Building, a custom home building company based in Albuquerque. She led the effort to create energy efficient green built homes coupled with ADA features.
